Waiting for our Love

The church, I'm proud to be apart of, is going through a really difficult season. The last two weeks have been really tough on everyone. We're all just tired and worn out. Our church is rather large, but the past two weeks it has felt very small, because we've all come together to join hands in praying for our leadership and body. It's been amazing to see God's church rallying together to bring glory to Him and to Him alone. We've prayed together, cried together, and sang songs to Jesus together. It's been amazing.

I was chatting with one of the singers on our worship team, after a special night of prayer and worship that we had with our entire church body, and we were saying how amazing it is to be in a room full of believers. People that love Jesus so much, and are so thankful for what He has done in their lives. That aren't ashamed to tell people that awful state that were in before you redeemed their lives!

That night we sang a song that mentioned Christ's return. It's amazing when you get thousands of Christians in a room together and when you mention Christ's return it's immediate reaction is "let's go!", "yes, Lord, come quickly!"

That's how our Christian walk should be. My friend was saying, it's like we are calling out for our love to come home. We want to be with that person. That's how Jesus is in our lives! We are calling out to our one and only love... "come Lord Jesus, we're ready to see you person! Get us out of here!" It's pretty amazing. I can't wait to be in heaven forever just worshipping His beautiful name. Let us daily walk in our relationship with Jesus and with excited anticipation, await for His return! He's coming so soon!

Love, Amber
