Be a Healthy Mama!

I love going on Netflix and checking out the documentaries that they have available. Last week I found one called "Hungry for Change" and it's awesome and very educational. It talks about the importance of nutrition, and how we shouldn't believe in the lies of the food that our society throws in our face through their marketing campaigns. I was really convicted on getting the processed and junk food out the house immediately. I've decided to make a change in my own life. More whole foods, more water, more fruits and veggies... it's been 4 days, and I already feel better. I don't feel weighed down by nasty, fried, sugar filled foods. I want to live a happy, healthy life with my husband and kids. I also want to be an example to my children on how to take care of themselves.

I'm on a program now to loose 2 lbs a week. I'm using an app on my phone called "My Fitness Pal". It's super easy to use!

But counting calories isn't that big of a deal. Just eat yummy foods, that adds nutrients into your body and your body will thank you. You'll feel better immediately!
