My top 5 favorite baby items!

Hi Everyone,

As a new mom/ parent there are so many items out there just screaming to be bought. When registering for items it's hard not to get swept away in new baby item novelties. I'm about 6 months into this new mom adventure and I wanted to share with you some of our favorite products we found that have been a huge success in our home...so here we go.

#1. Wubbanub

The number one item me and my husband both agree on that we purchased for Eleanor was a Wubbanub. These awesome little pacifiers are attached onto a cute stuffed animal! It is a lifesaver for at night time when we were feeling around in Ellie crib desperately searching for her pacifier to help soothe her to sleep. Ellie also loves it because the little animal fits perfectly in her small little hands and she is now able to grab and put her own pacifier in her mouth at 5 1/2 months old. It is pretty awesome!

#2 Boppy Pillow

Our Boppy Pillow is probably the item we have used the longest and still has proven to be a great purchase. The Boppy Pillow is a great item to use right away when baby is born. We used it a lot to put Eleanor in when we were on the couch with her or when we were just hanging out at home. It was a comfy little space for her and allowed me to have my hands free for a few moments. I also used it for breastfeeding for the first couple weeks as I recovered from having a c-section. Ellie now uses it to help her with sitting up.

#3 Elephant Soother and Sound Machine

This Elephant was one of the first gifts we got when Ellie was born. Eleanor hates to be in the dark when its time to go to bed so this light up Elephant has been a lifesaver. I've also been able to use it in long car rides with her. The sound machine isn't the best quality but it can do the job. We personally don't use it and have another white noise device for Ellie.

#4 Honest Co. Diapers

I decided to try out the Honest Co. Diapers one month because of a great deal they were having. Little did I know how amazing they would be and how I would get hooked. Eleanor at about 2-3 months was having blow outs every single day, causing me to have to change her outfit and do lots more laundry than I would have liked to do. Then came the Honest Co. diapers...I kid you not...I can count on 1 hand how many blowouts she has had in the past 3 months since having them. They have been great! Plus, they have super cute designs, which is fun.

#4 Fisher Price Roarin' Rainforest Jumperoo

Ellie recently got this fun toy for Christmas and she has had a blast with it! Its one of the toys she will have fun playing with for more than 20 mins...which allows me to get some work done. Its been fun to watch her laugh, giggle and yell while playing on this.

#5 Fjällräven Backpack aka Our Diaper Bag

This isnt your typical diaper bag, but thats why I love it. When we were researching diaper bags to get the Fjallraven Kanken Daypack came up on one of my searches. I liked the look of this bag and I knew it would be a bag my husband wouldnt mind toting around either. What has come in handy the most is that it is indeed a backpack. When I'm out with Ellie on my own, I don't nearly have enough hands to have the stroller, carseat, my bag and the diaper bag in my hands. With the Kanken backpack its so nice to have one less thing to carry and just throw on my back.

We picked the dark gray so it wouldn't show dirt as much and was versatile for a boy or girl.

Well there you have it! My top 5 favorite baby items so far. Hope it helps some soon to be mammas or other moms just in search of great products to help them and their families grow together!

Hope you all have a great week,

Sarah
