We just spent 48 hours in heaven.
Not THE Heaven, but it sure felt like it was heavens cousin or something.
This post will mostly be pictures, because, well, the photos speak for themselves.
There’s nothing to do, really, and that’s super appealing to a couple of thirty-somethings who are used to the houseful of noises that five kids, a puppy, and fourteen chickens make.
The fence-lined drives up and down the pastures hills were beautiful. Over yonder there are some of the individual Cottages. There are six in total, three have Hot Tubs.
Since my husband is a Hot Tub Lover like none other, I made sure I picked out the Cottage with not only the King Sized Bed that we are used to, but our personal hot tub.
I’d say that I’ve more than made up for our Disney World Honeymoon almost 13 years ago. Even though this little honeymoon was all of 48 hrs.long.
My only regret is that life didn’t pause for us and we couldn’t stay forever.
Our cozy cottage. We didn’t have to share.
The personal touches were so sweet.
Yes, in addition to flower petals, sparkling champagne and breakfast found ready stocked for both mornings, they also included Fireproof. And yes, we watched it for the second time. Loved the extra care they gave us.
The hot tubs are pretty much brand new, lovely, and have the coolest lights.
All of this was ours to enjoy. Complete privacy. I sacrificed the Mountain View’s for this hot tub and bigger bed, but some cottages have better views, no hot tub and a queen bed. Just depends on what you prefer.
Just a short two hours drive from Charlotte. Far enough away without being too far. Loved it.
