Easy Peasy Dinners - Trader Joe's Style

photo 2-6 Do you have a Trader Joe's near where you live? I don't, so I drove me and the babies an hour to get groceries from one this past Thursday, and it was well worth it!

Their frozen food section is amazing, healthy, and super easy and fast to make at home! So I stocked up on tons of frozen foods. The other night my husband and I made their orange chicken with chicken fried rice... it was practically just as good, if not better than PF Changs fried rice.

Here's what the bags of food look like, and if you live near a Trader Joe's go get some! You just throw everything into the skillet and it's done in less than 10 minutes.

Easy Peasy Dinners - Tater tot Casserole

Ok Ladies! We're starting a new series called "Easy Peasy Dinners". Dinner ideas with 15 minutes or less of prep, and that are easy on the budget to make too! Here's the first meal: My Mom's Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients: 1 pound of ground beef or turkey 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 1 can of green beans Grated Parmesan Cheese Salt & Pepper Frozen Bag of Tater Tots

Directions: In a casserole dish, spread ground, raw meat on the bottom of your casserole dish. Spread cream of mushroom soup on top, season with salt and pepper to taste. Then add your green beans, sprinkle your parmesan cheese on top. You then add your frozen tater tots on top, and you're done!

Put it in the oven at 350* for one hour... and you've got yourself a complete meal for the entire family!

We had this meal tonight, and I loved that it took me less than 10 minutes to throw everything in the pan and into the oven.

Here's a picture of our casserole from tonight: (I forgot I didn't have tater tots, so I used our smiley potatoes instead, but it still tasted great! HA!)
